Learning new things about genomics

Genomics is a big world, and sometimes it is difficult to know where to start and keep up with things.

I too keep learning about new things in genomics world.

One of the things that I learned was to do quality check of the genomics file that we download from public databases. 

It does make sense but I always assumed it was done by the database servers themselves.
